Victor was lit with a brilliant inner light that attracted everyone to him. His intellect, elegance, dry sense of humor and charm made him memorable. The many years that I worked for him left me with very tender memories and I was very sad to hear of his passing. He is, I know, where all good people go, where there is no pain or suffering and where his inner light continues to shine.

I had the honer of spending many holidays and summer days with Pola and Victor and many fond memories. He was a wonderful man and one who had had an impact on my life. I was proud and privileged to name our first daughter Veronica Danielle Slater after him. She will learn of her namesake and all of the wonderful things about him.

I had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Victor and Pola since my arrival in Falmouth in 1990 to serve the Falmouth Jewish Congregation. Victor's deeply-held Yiddishkeit and his support of this congregation impressed my greatly and left a lasting legacy in this community. May Victor's memory continue to serve and bless the living.
